For the vintage print, we do put an overlay over the photo to soften the blacks in the image to match the softer color black of the text. It also allows for the text to pop over the image and create an overall cohesiveness in the design.
If you'd like us to remove or reduce this overlay we can do so after you've placed your order. Simply reply to your order confirmation email with that request. We'll confirm the change and have you approve a preview of your revised print before sending it to print!
